Better than One!

Well, I’ve discovered one thing that can happen when my blog gets messed up. I end up creating multiple blogs!

Creating multiple blogs helps me to prevent the loss of everything at once, should something like my recent experience ever happen again. It also helps me to focus my blogging.  Finally, many people have different interests, and I’m hoping they will find particular blogs that most reflect those interests. Right now I am contemplating separate blogs about:

  • The Historical Jesus
  • Early Christianities
  • Ministerial Search
  • Workings of Congregations
  • Personal Health and the Environment

and more.

The blog you are reading now, www.BobMiess.info, will be a hub for all of these focused blogs. As each one is added, I’ll have a blog entry on this blog to introduce it and the Blogroll in the right column will point to each blog as it comes online. The first is online now.

    I have a wordpress blog and I would like to remove everything (it’s hosted on my own domain and hosting) because I would like to delete my site. How can I save my blog posts in a folder or something in my documents (offline) because I don’t want to delete everything completely. Can I do that in one go, if I can even do it ? Thank you !.

    I’m afraid I’m not an expert on this, but I understand that everything is stored in the database. You might try going to http://www.wordpress.com, where they have both direct support and a forum about WordPress.
